Wire cut is a machining process which, during process evaluation, often replaces or works in tandem with traditional machining methods such as 5 axis machining and automated CNC mill-turn, to manufacture high technology components.

Our wire cut machining cell operates seamlessly alongside our rapid response machining cell, which offers the latest precision 5 axis machining technologies – running 24/7 and configured to handle rapid response, just-in time inventory management and short notice customer requirements. The operational work flow is as follows:
- Work directly with the customer’s supplied step file on receipt of file
- Step file worked to a CAD model
- CAD Model key dimensional check on DRG
- CAM machining operation
- Deliver to customer
- Lead time: 2 weeks approx depending on wire cut operations
